When my daugther was born i was gobsmacked! She was so tiny! And yet a big girl. She made her first sound and I smiled! Rigth after she was born her mama fell asleep of exhaustion so I held her in my arms for 2 hours straight singing to her calmly. I used to sing for her every nigth for 9 months so she was used to my voice. And she smiled and I cryed because I was so proud of her! I said” welcome to the world litle one. I am your daddy and I will always be honest with you and protect you”. Today she is 29 been in the army and I love her of all my heart. Thats the best gift i ever received.
