Well, i was 16 years old and i was supposed to bake some breads and I had a recipe for this. So I started of with the ingridients, flour, salt, sugar,jeest, water, butter, baking soda? grains and some other fibers. Now, i was a litle bit concerned about the baking soda cause I never heard about it before. While i was mixing i had the milk/water/butter mix on the stove for easy warmth for the jeest to disolve. My older brother allready had 50g in the mix, i didn’t know so I added 50g. I was freshman in the kitchen at that time so I didn’t see the difference between 50 or 100g jeest disolved in water/milk/butter. Anyway I made a dough and left it to rise. Well, it was big off course but I didn’t know any better so I made two breads. Proudly i smeared the top and left them to rise some more. Came out after 30 minutes to the kitchen.WHAT? Ok two big breads! So on a tray and in the oven! Needles to say but this was the biggest breads i have ever seen! They grew out of the oven! It took me a long time cleaning up afterwards! And my brothers laugther still giving me a reminder about the sabotage. Baking soda 50g jeest extra! We had fun though! That was the breads. Once i made a gravy that ended up to be more than enough!
