Felt like a grown up…

When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)?

I only had that feeling once. It was a strange sudden happening. Lasted for about 10-15 seconds but made a hell of an impact to this day. This what happened:This was 25 years ago. I have always looked at myself as an fearly active guy playing some soccer and volleyball in the summers and with allrigth form. I went in to the garden and my 7 year old daugther asked me to play soccer with her and I did. In the middle of the game she shouts ” come on OLD MAN” to me and I holted like I ran in to a wall! Those 10-15 seconds makes me think to this day that when she said old man i really felt old. 10-15 seconds i felt like 80. But it gave me so many more reflections on her, me, father, daugther, age, responsebility, accountability. I think that made me feel like a grown up for the first time.
