Hardest decision…

What’s the hardest decision you’ve ever had to make? Why?

My hardest decision i’ve ever made was when my dog got hit by a car and we didn’t know for sure how much damage the car made. So we had to x-ray the dog and we found out that to operate would be extensive and we had to either do the operation or put him down. Now my dog was my hero so I said after hours with care that we should operate. 8 hours later the dog went in to the observationward and I waited there until the dog waked up. He looked at me with his beautiful eyes and I said to him:”hey buddy, you made it! Now you need to get better because I want you back home. We all miss you.” Then I kissed him and he wagged his tail. I spend one week with my dog at the vet while he was healing. Complications happened and the vet told me he wouldn’t survive the inflamation attack. I must concider putting him down. I spend three days with my dog crying and talking to him telling him how sick he was. Litle did i know that my love and present was all he needed to get better. When the vet told me what to do i moved in with my dog and lived with him for three weeks in his cage at the vets place! And he healed! Today he is relaxing and chilling on the porch and he is now 16 years old! Still smiling and wagging his tail. I am glad i made the rigth decision even if it was a very hard one.
