What were your parents doing at your age?

My father was a ship-mechanic and working for an oilcompany GMC who had most of the supplyboats going in to the north-sea where the oilrigs are. His job was maintanance of the engines on the boats. He had this job for 50 years before he retired. He is also aknowledge by the norwegian sailors union for job well done. My mother was retired from the county health service. Her job was cleaning and shopping for seniors citicense who lived in their own homes. She had that job for 45 years before retired. And I am now 63 on disability benefits because the society don’t need me anymore. What an age we now live in.
