Most ambitious…

Describe the most ambitious DIY project you’ve ever taken on.

I was a prisoner in Norgerhaven jail in the Netherlands and I was there for 4 months. During that time they asked me to decorate the walls in the halls, big rooms and hallways with muriels of birds and other decorative pictures. So I made muriels of birds of prey, owls, eagles, hawks and some other small birds like the norwegian national bird the dipper, herons and fasans. I even made a big Rolling Stones tongue on a wall! This was back in 2018 and they are still there! So my time as a prisoner there was more an art project so I felt like it was an 4 months job! So my footprint is also in Norgerhaven prison in the Netherlands. Even the minister of justice came and talk to me while I was doing the muriels. He was very impressed by my work! So was the prisoners and they called me “Birdman”. My t-shirt said “fuck the police” and I gave that to a killer who never comes out again! He loves that t-shirt! We still send cards and shit to eachother!
